About the Position

We are looking for a talented social media manager to administer our various social media accounts across multiple social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), as well as managing our own community of users engaging on our website. You will also be asked to help us tap into relevant social media conversations wherever they may be happening online (e.g., various LinkedIn Groups related to our industry).  You will be working hand-in-hand with our social media advertising agency and our search engine optimization team, to coordinate efforts.

You will be responsible for thinking strategically and managing the execution of that plan--creating original text, image and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals, helping us increase our brand awareness, website traffic, user engagement and revenues from the channel.  You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.  

This is a full time role, working from your home.  


  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers/online users, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Desired Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Past experience using Hubspot’s social media tools, preferred
  • College graduate in business, marketing or related field, preferred
